Unwind is designed to be completely private. This policy explains what that means.
The short version
Unwind does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party services, and no network connections.
What stays on your device
- Journal entries you write are stored locally on your device (using Apple's SwiftData) and never leave it.
- Reminders you create — a time and the days of the week — are stored locally and scheduled as local notifications on your device.
Unwind does not transmit any of this information anywhere.
What we don't do
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not use third-party SDKs or services.
- We do not connect to the internet.
Notifications
If you create reminders, Unwind asks your permission to send local notifications. These are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device; no reminder content is sent to us or anyone else. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Deleting your data
Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app removes all of it. You can also delete individual journal entries and reminders inside the app at any time.
Children's privacy
Unwind collects no data from anyone, including children.
